Prison Ministry

Jesus (speaking of the last judgment in Matthew 25:34,36) says, "Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world... I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me." The Prison Outreach Ministry seeks to honor Christ by bringing the Gospel to those who are still in bondage and behind bars.

Visiting area prisons and juvenile facilities, the Prison Outreach Ministry teaches the Word of God in such a way that the message can be applied to an individual's life (leading that person in prison to Christ). Helping others, under the direction of the Holy Spirit, volunteers share their experiences through testimony, how we surrender our lives to Jesus. How great men of the Bible (Moses, Jacob, David, Peter, Paul) who were sinners gave their lives to God. Through our experiences, we will encourage prisoners that the Bible is our infallible authority, our guide for life, stability, strength and communication. That faith, service, obedience and prayer is all that one needs.
