Overview

The youth ministry at Calvary Chapel Fremont is all about Jesus Christ. We want every young person who comes to know Jesus, and we want every Christian young person to know Him better. In a world where God is ignored and rejected the best and only hope a student has is Jesus Christ. We want to see Jesus lifted high in the hearts and lives of today's youth. All youth from 7th-12th grade are welcome and invited to visit us.

Vision

"For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son..." Romans 8:29b Our vision is to see every student realize God's plan to make him/her more like Jesus.

Purpose

The reason we have youth ministry is to guide students to Jesus Christ and help them: • Know Jesus through fellowship • Worship Jesus with their lives • Follow Jesus through discipleship • Serve Jesus in ministry • Show Jesus to others by evangelism

Objectives

The Youth Group will provide: 1. Teaching God's Word will be taught Sundays and Midweek. Sound and relevant Bible teaching will be the foundation of discipleship. Students will learn to love God's word and allow the Holy Spirit to apply it to their lives. 2. Relationships The youth pastor and youth leaders will pursue discipling relationships with students. Students will be encouraged to develop Christ-like friendships. Godly relationships will allow students to experience God's Word personally. The youth pastor will pursue relationships with student's parents. 3. Activities Special events and activities will provide an opportunity and setting for relationships to grow and for students to participate in the Body of Christ.

Youth Group Program

Sunday mornings after worship in the 2nd service, students from 7th to 12th grade are invited to meet together for Bible teaching. During this time questions and comments are highly encouraged, as the time is meant to be a youth-pastor-led Bible discussion. 2nd service starts 10:15am. Wednesday Nights This Wednesday night meeting consists of a games, music, videos, food, and a Bible Message. The purpose is mainly outreach to young Christians or kids who are not very familiar with church. 6:30pm TNT* Thursday Night Thunder is designed for students who are wanting to grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus. Similar to Wednesdays with a more in depth Bible Study time. *(Rev 14:2) 7pm Special Events Special events will include, but are not limited to, summer and winter retreats, over-nighters, one-day events, short missions, and much more. These times are designed for fellowship, and growth to allow students to bring friends and have fun in a safe environment. For some events, parents will be welcomed and encouraged to participate.
