Calvary Chapel is a body of believers gathering together under the lordship of Jesus Christ to worship Him, be taught by His Word, and grow in our love for one another.
We come to worship Him because He is worthy to receive glory, honor, and power and has created all things. We therefore emphasize songs of worship and praise.
We come to be taught by His Word because it is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path, leading us to a knowledge of Him. We therefore emphasize the teaching of the Word.
We come to grow in our love because it is a commandment that we love one another, and by this the world will know that we are His disciples. We therefore emphasize the unity and fellowship of the body of Christ.
We go, as He instructed us, to seek to live in such a way and to communicate the gospel in such a way, that others will become followers of Jesus.
