In order to enable a greater sense of community at Calvary Chapel Fremont, beginning on Wednesday, January 25th, we are going to launch Midweek Fellowship Groups here at the church that will meet from 6:45 PM – 8:15 PM.
We will gather for a time of corporate worship and then break into predetermined fellowship groups that will meet at various places around the building. These will be sermon-based fellowship groups which means that the previous Sunday’s sermon will be discussed and applied (and clarified, if needed!).
Why meet at the church building on Wednesday nights?
Childcare is such a big issue when it comes to small groups. And since we already have a Children’s Ministry and Youth Group running on Wednesday nights, we are going to take advantage of this and run small group fellowships on Wednesday nights.
We will kick this new ministry emphasis off on Wednesday, January 25th at 6:00 PM with a meal together. All other nights we will begin at 6:45 PM. Here’s the schedule:
January 25 – May 12 / 6:45 PM / in the sanctuary
We’ll go back to our regular midweek study for a few weeks and then kick-off another session of Midweek Fellowship Groups.
