What a precious series of Psalm 23 this has been..and so timely for me. Thank you! I learned many new thoughts and wisdom as you taught from this favorite Psalm.
Remembering my 4 years fondly spent at Calvary Chapel on Blossom Hill. Your teaching and sweet friendships I received there were foundational for what the Lord had planned for me in Seattle.
I have been a widow for 18 years now, and can testify that the LORD is everything and more that HE promised and will be always! Although I am living most women’s worst nightmare, and own nearly nothing, God has been faithful to me, the most loving Shepherd and caring Husband of all. Blessing after blessing falls freshly every day like manna from heaven. He was never more close to me as when I was passing thru the many dark valleys throughout my life. He really does heal the brokenhearted and sets the captive free..He takes care of the widow and near to those crushed in spirit. He continues to fill me with joy and peace when I keep my eyes fixed on my very Good Shepherd!

I’m attending Capo Beach Church and live in San Clemente, CA with a lovely Christian lady who has given me a beautiful place to lay my head. I’m a dog/ house sitter now, and enjoy this work immensely.
One more comment on Psalm 23. I had read ” He prepares a table before me in the presence of my enemies ” can mean He prepares a ‘spread out place’. He goes before the sheep and clears out snake holes, poisonous plants, all enemies, and prepares a place of safety and rest.
