Hey, Calvary Fremont –
Down the path I ran from Jesus
He the Savior close behind
Darting into dark and shadows
Never shaking Love divine
Into darkness through the shadows
Hiding in denial’s sway
Running from pursuing Mercy
No more than a step away
Twisting turning panting sweating
Stealing looks behind my back
There was the relentless Savior
Arms extended ‘come and rest’
Overwhelmed by lovingkindness
Exhausted by my reckless run
Collapsing into arms of Mercy
Resting now in God the Son
